Venezuela, a coutry full of unique beauty and great variety which reaches from snowcovered Andeanpeaks through Savanna – countrysides, natural rain forests, dry jungles, foggy woods and Galeriewoods to the Orinoco river with its delta as big as Switzerland. Native people partially still living very original.
However, the most outstanding area is the Grand Savanna with its tepuis (Table Mountains). This area is one of the oldest on earth (from a geological view) formed by one thousand and eighthundred years of erosion. There are ca. one hundred Tepuis scattered all across the southeast of Venezuela. Hundreds of waterfalls are characteristic for this countryside. The most famous one is the Angel – Fall which plunges from a height of one thousand meters from the Auyan – Tepui into the green depth. But also the Orinoco delta which was formed by the sediments and semens, that the Orinoco brought along. Living for ca. sixteen thousand years in the delta, the original population of the Waraos have preserved an originality similar to the times of Humboldt. In this jungle area you can experience howler monkeys, sweetwater dolfins, shimmring Butterflies, iguanas, capibaras, otters, jaguars, ibisses, parrots and many other animal species. This variety makes out of Venezuela a country which is worth visiting again and again - in which you can fall in love with like it happened to me.
